Baseball and beer is what can be said about this great section of Lakeview, that we know today as Wrigleyville. Wrigleyville boasts a large selection of restaurants and bars, and during baseball season you can find these pregame and post game hangouts at maximum capacity. The neighborhood consists mainly of charming brownstones, but one thing unique to this area are the roof tops. Many homeowners have converted their rooftops with bleachers and party decks, these roof top restaurants are condoned and licensed by the City of Chicago.
Wrigley Field is a classic icon in the Chicago neighborhood, and dates back to 1916 when the first game was played at the park. The famed broadcaster Harry Carry called Wrigley Field his home, and made famous his tradition of singing "Take Me Out To The Ballgame" during the 7th inning stretch. Wrigleyville is certainly one of Chicago's most spirited neighborhoods.
