J. Haakon Knutson is a Chicago native with an extensive background in real estate sales, leasing, marketing and management. Haakon graduated from DePauw University in Indiana and attended Loyola University School of Law where he received his law degree. Several years after law school he started a full-service real estate management company for both residential and commercial properties. Haakon is a licensed real estate broker and is still active in the management field, bringing a wide breadth of real estate experience and knowledge to the table. Haakon began his career in advertising and quickly learned the significance of relationships and the cornerstone they rest upon: trust. He prides himself on a relentless work ethic while providing all of his clients with a comprehensive approach to their real estate requirements. Whether working with a commercial developer, or finding a family their first home, Haakon enjoys the challenge of making his clients happy and ensuring their satisfaction. Last, but not least, Haakon takes pleasure in what he does and has fun doing it. In his free time, Haakon volunteers for several charity organizations, including pro bono work for the Chicago Legal Referral Program (CARPLS). He also enjoys traveling and spending time with friends and family.
